SOLUCIONES MECÁNICAS E INGENIERÍA, is a company 100% Colombian founded in the year 2000 by a team of experts ingenieers that had belonged to the metal mechanics sector for over 30 years. Our goal is to meet the needs of the petrochemical, ceramics, steel and manufacturing in general. We have a professional team based on the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000, which offers our customers satisfaction and support.

Year 2002
Participation in the program PRODES METALWORKING CONFORMATION OF MANUFACTURING IN CAPITAL ASSETS led by ECOPETROL-ACOPI in the city of Neiva.
Participation in the First Hall Contracting of Medellin Capital Assets, organized by ECOPETROL-ACOPI, where we managed to locate potential customers through business rounds.

YEAR 2003
Obtaining resources and consulting from COLCIENCIAS-IFI for the implementation of ISO 9001:2000.

YEAR 2004
Beginning of the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 in our manufacturing plant.

YEAR 2005
Improving our processes with technology update through the acquisition of numerical controlled machines.

YEAR 2006
Continuing with the renewal of technology through the acquisition of CNC Machining Center to ensure greater precision in the manufacture of products..

YEAR 2007
SOLUCIONES MECANICAS E INGENIERÍA is awarded ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certification for SGS in the Machining Line.
Formalization and implementation of the Projects Department.

YEAR 2008
SOLUCIONES MECANICAS E INGENIERÍA extends the scope of the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certification with the inclusion of Engineering Projects and Assemblies.
Acquisition of a Machining Center of 20 tools and a Numerically Controlled Turning machine.

YEAR 2009
Participation in the International Fair INDUEXPO 2009 in Guatemala with the support of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce.
Expanding national and international markets and opening new offices with the PROEXPORT support and consulting.
